The star of Galatasaray, Didier Drogba has to face off against his former club Chelsea at the end of February with a Champions League match scheduled to take place and even though Drogba is excited to have the chance to play against Chelsea and Jose Morinho, he warned his teammates to play at their very best.

The Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho also told his players about the qualities that Drogba has at his disposal.

‘’I think it will be a special moment for Didier and for the Chelsea fans when he comes back on to the pitch at Stamford Bridge’’.

‘’He deserves the best reception, he is a hero here for what he achieved and he is a great guy as well as a great footballer. So there will be a lot of love when that happens, but we also have a game to play, we know that Didier will be giving his best because we know the professional he is, but we will also be giving everything to progress’’.

‘’For sure, it is going to be something amazing to experience’’. The head coach of Chelsea, Mourinho stated.

The 35 years old Ivorian forward of Galatasaray is recently being heavily linked with a move to Sounders FC as reports are claiming that discussions are being made involving the future of Drogba and Sounder FC is a very likely destination for the former Chelsea player but he responded to those rumors via Instagram and he mentioned that everything he is thinking right now is on achieving history with Galatasaray.

‘’So many things have been said these last few days and I normally don’t react other such rumors so it’s gonna be the first and last time I do it… I’m here focusing on achieving history for my team and nothing will take my eyes out of my goals!!! To all my red and yellow fans let’s keep on winning until the end of the season’’. Drogba wrote on Instagram.
